TL;DR: Thank you for continuing to make music, I'm honored to be within some of the earliest comments on here. At risk of being wax poetic, I wanted to take a chance to share some appreciation that goes back nearly ten years now. Your Cataclasm album was the soundtrack of several of my longest drives. Grey mornings and long nights, in company and alone, towards things that gave me hope and towards things I was hesitant to face. You're right to say the last few years have been trying for so many, and while I cannot speak for them adequately or confidently, there have been several times where I held your music as an anchor against the backdrop of what could well be some of the worst days I'd been through. As many times as you've inspired energy and courage, you have sung comfort to us as well. Your voice lends well to what you offered in your description, and the stillness in these frenetic days is welcome as the words you sing. And beneath them, at least to me, there will always be a gravity and momentum, urging me to keep moving once that much needed peaceful moment has been had. That there is no shame in finding shelter in that blanket, especially when it is offered like kindness from an old friend. So once more, thank you, for being the voice ahead of me in the tunnel and for echoing at my heels to cut through the dissonant dirges of my memories.
